Review of character's in Crystal Child; Judith Carlton

Since discussing Aaron Marshall doctor of metaphics in my last post I've decided to extend this analysis of characters in my book, Crystal Child. Next to under-go this scrutiney is Judith Carlton.
Judith Carlton is a child psychologist. A woman in her late thirties, unmarried and childless. Judith has decided not to have children of her own, as her mother was an alcoholic; she feared any child of hers would inherit the addiction. She loves her work with the children in her care and is Sarah's analyst. A tall striking blonde haired woman, she is blessed with a calm understanding nature. Judith believes she can dispel Sarah's fantasy world, but is unprepared for the changes the child will evoke within her own life. Coming from a scientific background, she does not believe in the paranormal. To her Sarah's imaginary friends are a psychological problem, not a spiritual one, as Aaron believes. Judith and Aaron have been lovers in the past, when they both worked together as psychologists at the clinic. They renew their affair when Aaron involves himself in Sarah's case. He and Judith have opposing views on what is best for Sarah. Judith is worried Aaron's obssession with finding proof of the afterlife, will have a serious effect on Sarah. As their love blossoms their friendship is strained due to their alternate opinions. Will Aaron be able to persuade Judith of Sarah's ability? Will she come to believe Sarah is indeed, a crystal child?
Next character review will be on Caroline Greenward, Sarah's mother who suffers from a long term anxiety disorder.
